AMC owners appreciate knowing which nonprofit membership organizations are selecting which AMCs. This information can help AMCs propose partnerships with other AMCs. It's also good marketing for your firm: If you've established a concentration of clients in a particular sector, other AMCs may refer business to you.

Don Knox edits AMC Advantage. He is a former business editor for The Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News. He founded Civica Associations in Denver and believes strongly in the AMC model for managing nonprofit membership organizations.
